Labels – we are all defined by them. Yet to what extent are these labels preconceived, how much can we alter them and how ready is a society to accept one who deviates from the norm?

Centred on the Singapore-Tamil diaspora, Pazhuppu explores the impact of a society fraught with the labels of culture, gender and class.

Meera returns for more fun this Octoburst!. This time, her nature adventure takes her deep into the ocean, amongst the clouds and through a forest. Come join Meera as she meets different animals who are struggling to survive with the many problems our environment is facing.  Learn how you can help them keep our world healthy and safe for our animal friends.

Grace Kalaiselvi is a bilingual storyteller and theatre practitioner. Her love for puppetry and mask work led her to create Meera, a brown Indian puppet. Through a series titled Meera’s Adventures, Grace tells stories of love and acceptance of people, environment, and the world.
